Some moments are fun, some happy, other moments may be painful or upsetting. Some moments are boring or we may feel nothing is happening. Whatever is going on in each now, what we do or not do in this moment will affect our future moments.
We need to quickly identify what is happening in this moment – self honesty is needed here. If this moment is pleasant we can continue to cultivate similar thoughts and actions. If the current moment has some stress, we need to change our thinking or stop doing anything that is aggravating the stress. Be patient, if we’ve had lots of moments of stress one after the other, it can take a while to return to feeling relaxed and centered. Just keep the mind and actions pointed in the right direction.
